Dodgers select two college pitchers with top two picks

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers' new regime made its first two draft choices top college pitchers Monday, selecting Vanderbilt right-hander Walker Buehler with pick No. 24 and Louisville right-hander Kyle Funkhouser 35th overall in the 2015 MLB Draft.

Buehler, 20, has posted a 2.97 ERA in 78 2/3 innings this season, his junior year at the baseball powerhouse, striking out 81 against 25 walks. He had a 2.83 ERA in 165 innings over the two previous years. Baseball America ranked him the 12th-best player available in this year's draft.
