The Dodgers are going to be getting some much-needed bullpen help this week. With the loss of the 5th starter in their rotation, Los Angeles is expected to throw one more bullpen game this week on Wednesday. They had already thrown one on Sunday when Trevor Bauer was supposed to pitch.
To add to their depth, the Dodgers selected the contract of RHP Jake Reed this afternoon. Reed will be on the active roster for the first time in his big league career and his next appearance will be his big league debut.
