The Dodgers are looking to make it two in a row and have the right guy on the mound to do it. The ace, Clayton Kershaw, gets the ball for his sixth start of the year and goes for win number 5 on the season. He’s making his 20 career regular season start against the St. Louis Cardinals and has fair well against them over the years, at least in the regular season. More on that in a minute.
First pitch is set for 6:10 PM in Los Angeles. Before the game, the organization will honor pinch hitting specialist and long time coach and advisor, Manny Mota, inducting him into the “Legends of Dodger Baseball.
