Dodgers’ Ryan Brasier Throws Simulated Game as He Works Way Back From Injury

The Los Angeles Dodgers were losing pitchers to the injured list by the bunches. Now, they are returning in droves.

Reliever Ryan Brasier was placed on the 15-day IL on April 30 due to a right calf strain. He was transferred to the 60-day on June 13. According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register, the right-hander threw a simulated game at Dodger Stadium before the series finale against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday afternoon.

However, the 36-year-old will need a rehab assignment before he pitches for the Dodgers again.

Brasier only appeared in 12 games, starting one, and allowed six earned runs on 10 hits across 11.
