Everyone around the Dodgers knows what the ultimate goal for the team is this winter: Sign two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani. There isn’t any sugarcoating it and the team expects to put together a major offseason with Ohtani as the big prize.
They held off doing much of anything last winter, so they could keep their books clean to make an aggressive run at the superstar. And now we are just a few months away from the Dodgers possibly realizing their long-term plan.
Of course, Ohtani has to want to play in LA, but the Dodgers do provide him with everything he has wanted.
