The Dodgers don’t exactly have the elite roster that they came into the season with right now. They lost Walker Buehler to an arm injury, Mookie Betts is down with a cracked rib, Blake Treinen has been out since the start of the year, and even Edwin Rios couldn’t stay healthy off of the bench.
At the start of the year, most would have predicted that the Dodgers wouldn’t do much at the trade deadline. But the injuries and slumps that they have endured through the first 60+ games might put them in a position where they want to make some moves.
