Entering the 2023 season, there was hardly anyone who saw veteran Jason Heyward having the kind of impact that he did on the Dodgers season. He joined the team on a minor-league deal, but worked his way onto the roster and ultimately became one of the more important members of the team.
He didn’t do much in the postseason, but then again most of the Dodgers players didn’t. During the regular season, however, Heyward put up good numbers. He hit .269 with 15 home runs and 40 runs batted in over 124 games played.
