The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially made the roster move we’ve all been waiting for ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Colorado Rockies.
Max Muncy, who hasn’t played since June 11 due to a hamstring strain, has finally been activated off the injured list, just in time to play in the hitter-friendly ballpark that is Coors Field.
To make room on the active roster, infielder Michael Busch — who has been filling in for Muncy while he was sidelined — has been optioned back to Triple-A.
The Dodgers activated IF Max Muncy from the injured list and optioned IF Michael Busch.
