There’s really no way to sugarcoat it, the Dodgers offense has been a big reason why LA has been a .500 team in the month of June (12-12) entering play on Wednesday. Although the Dodgers are middle-of-the-road in as a team by wRC+ (12th) and batting average 13th), they rank 24th in runs scored. Missing Mookie Betts, their superstar outfielder and leadoff man, is definitely part of the equation.
Betts has been on the injured list since June 18th after cracking a rib in an in-game collision with Cody Bellinger. Trea Turner has performed well in the leadoff spot (196 wRC+), the Dodgers are at their best with Mookie in the lineup.
