The Los Angeles Dodgers reinstated Julio Urias from the 10-day injured list and designated Neftalí Féliz for assignment prior to Tuesday’s game against the San Diego Padres.
Urias returns on the first day he was eligible and takes the ball in the series opener at Petco Park. He had been sidelined due to a left calf contusion that was a result of being hit by a pitch in his start against the New York Mets.
Presumably due to some tightness developing in the calf, Urias threw just five innings in the outing at Citi Field despite only allowing two hits and collecting five strikeouts.
