It’s always a little more fun when the Dodgers get to face off against Madison Bumgarner. Even though it’s not the same as when he was with the Giants for all of those years, getting to MadBum always feels good. They did that again on Friday night.
It started with an Edwin Rios homerun, a towering shot that got out into the right-field corner. Mookie Betts followed that up with a long homerun of his own, this one into the left-field corner. It was the 13th longball of the year for the Dodgers outfielder.
The Dodgers would add one more off of Bumgarner when Trea Turner went deep in the 6th inning.
