Clayton Kershaw is taking the next step in his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, manager Dave Roberts confirmed on Friday before the Los Angeles Dodgers opened a two-game set against the Los Angeles Angels.
Kershaw will start against the Arizona Diamondbacks affiliate in Reno and is expected to throw four innings. If all goes well, Kershaw would pitch five innings in his next start.
Roberts didn’t give a definite date for Kershaw’s return to the Dodgers but he did say that the future Hall of Famer will make at least two more rehab starts.
