Dodgers reportedly will get Vidal Nuno from Mariners for Carlos Ruiz

The trade isn’t official yet, but once completed the Dodgers are expected to get left-handed pitcher Vidal Nuno from the Mariners in exchange for catcher Carlos Ruiz.

Nuno put up a 3.53 ERA and 4.51 FIP in 55 games for the Mariners in 2016, including one start. He struck out 51 (a 20.6% strikeout rate) and walked only 11 in his 58u2154 innings. He also allowed 11 home runs, making him sort of a lesser mirror image of the right-handed Pedro Baez.
