For most of the morning, numerous reports around MLB suggested a possibility of Albert Pujols rejoining his former club, the St. Louis Cardinals, to finish out the remainder of the 2021 season. However, baseball fans were hugely surprised not long after lunchtime when news broke about the future hall of famer reaching a deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
