The Los Angeles Dodgers’ big offseason addition was adding the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner Trevor Bauer to a rotation that already included Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buehler and Julio Urias.
Bauer’s tenure with the Dodgers got off to a solid start on the field, but that all came crashing down in recent weeks when he was accused of sexual assault.
While Bauer denies the claims, Major League Baseball decided to put him on seven-day administrative leave as they and the police continue to investigate the matter. Bauer’s seven days are up on Friday, but Dave Roberts expects that to be extended considering how complicated the case is.
