Less than a week after designating him for assignment, the Los Angeles Dodgers re-signed Bobby Wahl to a Minor League contract.
The Dodgers claimed Wahl off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers at the end of June but he was removed from the 40-man roster last week in order to make room for Jimmie Sherfy.
Wahl has yet to pitch in a game for the Dodgers but did make two appearances with Triple-A Oklahoma City, allowing three runs over one inning of work.
Prior to joining the Dodgers, the 29-year-old spent time with two of the Brewers’ Minor League affiliates, Double-A Biloxi and Triple-A Nashville, allowing a combined 11 runs over 10.
