Right-hander Joe Wieland has re-signed with the Dodgers, according to a person familiar with the situation who spoke under the condition of anonymity because the agreement has not been announced.
Wieland, 26, was eligible for salary arbitration and was a candidate to be non-tendered.
Wednesday is the deadline for teams to tender contracts to their arbitration-eligible players. Players who are non-tendered become free agents.
Wieland will earn $590,000 in the upcoming season – the same amount he earned this year.
Wieland started two games for the Dodgers this year and was 0-1 with an 8.
