NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. – The Dodgers took care of one of their most pressing offseason needs on the first day of the winter meetings, officially re-signing Rich Hill on Monday.
The Dodgers inked Hill for $48 million over three years, according to multiple reports.
Hill, 36, had a 1.83 ERA in six starts with the Dodgers after they acquired him from the Oakland Athletics just before the trading deadline in July.
The Dodgers had been eyeing returns for their three key free agents: Hill, Justin Turner and Kenley Jansen.
Hill’s deal is the latest development in what has been a remarkable career rebirth.
