ATLANTA >> A hanging sinker over the inside corner. A stolen base in the 10th inning, followed by a rookie mistake. Six and one-third innings of near perfection by the bullpen.
Call it a comeback.
The Dodgers were rewarded for their persistence on several fronts Wednesday in a 5-3, 10-inning win over the Atlanta Braves. The win wasn’t particularly emotional or even pretty. The teams combined to commit three errors for the second consecutive night.
Yet for the Dodgers it served as a reminder of how a little veteran savvy and a good bullpen can go a long way.
