The Brewers came into the NLCS brimming with confidence and swagger. The had won eleven straight games, swept the red hot Colorado Rockies, and now had home field advantage for the best of seven series with the Dodgers. The Brewers even won the first game of the NLCS and had the Dodgers on the ropes until Justin Turner delivered in the eighth inning of game two.
Not only did Justin Turner’s go ahead home run launch the Dodgers back into the drivers seat and possibly save the Dodgers’ season, it was the beginning of a crack in the Brewers’ confidence.
