The Dodgers have revoked a claim after placing him on waivers last week, reports ESPN's Jayson Stark.
Yasiel Puig has almost always been considered an untouchable player. Earlier this year, the Dodgers even told Puig he would not be traded. But when the trade deadline came around, rumors swirled that Puig could be on the move. Obviously, that did not happen and Puig is still with the Dodgers. Now, the only way he could be traded is through the waiver process.
Basically, teams place their players on waivers to see how many other teams are interested in him.
