GLENDALE, Ariz. >>The Dodgers’ clubhouse at Camelback Ranch has turned into a sports bar this spring with a pool table supplementing the ping pong table and Yasiel Puig looking for an opponent to play the FIFA video game on the hanging TV.
But briefly this week, it morphed into a piano bar.
“Doc (Dodgers manager Dave Roberts) called me up the first day during introductions,” right-hander Trevor Oaks said, referring to a spring tradition Roberts has started during the Dodgers’ daily team meeting. Young players have to stand up and introduce themselves to the team – and are eventually given an assignment to perform in front of them.
