Dodgers Prospect Involved in Wild Collision in World Baseball Classic Game

The Dodgers No. 23 ranked prospect Jose Ramos is suiting up for Team Panama in the World Baseball Classic, and playing in the outfield. In the team’s first game, a 12-5 win over Taiwan, Ramos was involved in a scary collision out in right-center field.

A ball was hit in the right-center gap, and Ramos went over to make the play. The problem was, Luis Castillo, the right fielder, was also trying to make the play.

While Castillo ultimately made the catch, he also got the worse end of it. Here’s the play:

Fortunately, both players avoided injuries, and were able to stay in the game.
