While the Los Angeles Dodgers aren’t yet able to play games at Dodger Stadium, it is temporarily being used as a coronavirus (COVID-19) testing location. It officially opened Tuesday morning, with L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti and Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten holding a press conference on the infield.
“We’re excited to do this because this builds on the work we’ve been doing for the past weeks and months,” Garcetti said. “We want testing to be easy, accessible and free for everybody here in Los Angeles. We don’t have to you to have to wait in long lines.
