The Dodgers will have to adjust to life without Kiké Hernandez in the lineup every day. The super utilityman signed a 2-year deal with the Red Sox this season-ending a 6-year run with Los Angeles.
Hernandez came over in the trade from the Marlins that sent Dan Haren and Dee Gordon to Miami. Since that time, he totaled 648 games and almost 1800 at-bats with the Dodgers, as well as making appearances in 58 playoff games.
The decision to go to Boston was actually an easy one for Kiké. The Dodgers may not have had room for him, but the Red Sox certainly did.
