The Dodgers have been busy this first month of the season and have used the DL six times this season.
According to David Vassegh, Logan Forsythe was placed on the DL with a with a fractured right toe after exiting Tuesday’s game after being hit by a pitch in his first at-bat
Forsythe remained in the game after being hit but looked uncomfortable for the two defensive innings he played. Forsythe was removed from the game in the bottom of the 3rd when Scott Van Slyke pinch hit for him.
Original reports from Forsythe’s MRI were inconclusive, but a second MRI today showed enough damage that the Dodgers elected to place him on the DL and not risk any further injury to his foot.
