The Los Angeles Dodgers announced ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Oakland Athletics that they have placed Daniel Hudson on the 10-day disabled list with right forearm tightness and recalled Pat Venditte from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Hudson last pitched in Friday’s game against the Houston Astros when he tossed two shutout innings without allowing any baserunners.
Overall in 38 games this season, Hudson has been a pleasant surprise for Los Angeles. He has gone 3-2 with a 3.92 ERA, 4.18 FIP and 1.24 WHIP while striking out 40 and walking 18 in 43.2 innings after being acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays at the end of Spring Training.
