Dodgers place both Brett Anderson and Scott Kazmir on DL, tie MLB record

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers have placed two more starting pitchers on the disabled list.

Both Brett Anderson and Scott Kazmir will be sidelined for at least two weeks. Anderson is dealing with a blister on the index finger of his pitching hand which makes it difficult for him to effectively throw a breaking pitch.

Kazmir, meanwhile, was placed on the DL with neck inflammation. The left-hander said he has been "fighting through" issues in the right side of his neck "for years." It had flared up recently, impacting his ability to repeat his delivery properly.

The Dodgers also returned right-hander Josh Fields to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
