The Dodgers could not have asked for a worse start to this NLDS from their starting pitchers.
On Saturday in Game 1, it was Clayton Kershaw lasting just 0.1 innings, allowing six earned runs in the process. The Dodgers, of course, would never make the game close.
On Monday, it was now Bobby Miller’s turn for a short outing. The hard-throwing righty just couldn’t get outs against Arizona, who absolutely worked him across 1.2 innings of work.
Miller threw 52 pitches across his 1.2 innings, and allowed three earned runs before getting pulled for Brusdar Graterol.
