The Dodgers and Padres will meet up this week for just the second time all season. With MLB’s odd scheduling, Thursday night will be just the 4th game between these two NL West teams all season. And it should be a very fun matchup to watch.
Not only are both teams right at the top of the standings, but both are also working their way through superstar injuries. The Dodgers are without guys like Mookie Betts and Walker Buehler while the Padres are missing Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr.
But the potential pitching matchups for this series could be what makes it electric.
