Dodgers pitcher suffers fractured arm in car accident

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- A rough spring only got worse for Josh Ravin on Monday.

The Dodgers pitcher was involved in a car accident and suffered a fractured radius bone in his left (non-throwing) arm. Ravin, 28, already missed most of a week early in camp when he came down with the flu and strep throat.

Ravin posted a photo of his injured left arm to his Twitter account before going into surgery Tuesday morning. Ravin captioned the photo "Lookin' like Harry Potter's wand."

Ravin told TMZ Sports that he was driving only about 20 mph when traffic in front of him suddenly stopped.
