The Los Angeles Dodgers made five roster moves after Wednesday night’s loss to the Cleveland Indians, optioning left-handed pitcher Adam McCreery and reassigning left-handed pitcher Josh Smoker and right-handed pitchers Joe Broussard, Daniel Corcino and Jesen Therrien to Minor League camp.
McCreery was acquired in a trade from the Braves earlier this offseason, but it’s evident he can still use some seasoning in the Minors before being Major-League ready.
In three games this spring, McCreery allowed four hits and three runs (two earned) in 2.1 innings, good for a 7.71 ERA. He walked two and did not strike out a batter.
