LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers as expected activated outfielder Chris Heisey from Triple-A Oklahoma City before Wednesday's game against the Giants, and optioned relief pitcher Adam Liberatore back to Triple-A.
Heisey is expected to start Wednesday night against Giants' left-hander Madison Bumgarner, though starting lineups haven't yet been announced. Joc Pederson has started all 13 games so far and has played all but one inning in center field.
In Triple-A, Heisey was hitting .257/.350/.629 with nine runs scored, seven RBI and a team-leading four home runs.
