Another Dodger outfielder will be heading to the Midwest for the 2023 season. ESPN baseball insider Jeff Passan announced that Joey Gallo will become a Minnesota Twin.
Outfielder Joey Gallo and the Minnesota Twins are in agreement on a one-year contract, sources familiar with the deal tell ESPN.
Gallo and the Twins agreed to a one-year, $11 million contract. The former All-Star will be heading back to the American League after spending his first seven and a half seasons with the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees.
The Dodgers traded for Gallo at the 2022 trade deadline.
