BREAKING: Shortstop Dansby Swanson and the Chicago Cubs are finalizing an agreement on a contract, sources tell ESPN.
According to Russell Dorsey of Bally Sports, Swanson’s deal is a seven-year contract worth $177 million.
More importantly, our very own Doug McKain hit the nail on the coffin as he predicted Dansby would sign with the Cubbies.
Swanson was the last remaining from the big four to sign with a team.
