Dodgers Offseason: Another Free Agent Pitcher is Off the Market

Another starting pitching is off the board, as LHP Sean Manaea has signed a two-year deal with the San Francisco Giants. Manaea, who spent last season with the Padres, will be switching jerseys, but remaining in the Dodgers’ division.

Manaea was not really on the Dodgers’ radar this offseason — and for good reason. Manaea had a down year in 2022 with San Diego, going 8-9 with a career-worst 4.96 ERA in 30 games (28 starts).

And if you think that’s bad, it’s been even worse for him in his career against the Dodgers. All time against LA, Manaea is 0-5 with an 8.
