Dodgers Officially Add Anthopoulous to the Front Office

Yesterday morning the Dodgers made yet another offseason move, in the front office. The club confirmed that Alex Anthopoulos would be joining the organization and taking on the role of VP of Baseball Operations. In this new position, Anthopoulos will be involved with all aspects of baseball operations and work along side Andrew Friedman, Farhan Zaidi and senior vice president of baseball operations, Josh Byrnes.

In 2003, Anthopoulos was hired as a scouting coordinator for the Toronto Blue Jays. Then in 2009, he was hired as the general manager for the club when Ricciardi.

Anthopoulos is also known for being apart of one of the biggest trades in the Blue Jays history, known as “The Doc Deal”.
