SAN DIEGO – The Dodgers spun their spot-starter wheel and it landed on veteran right-hander Scott Baker.

Baker will be promoted from Triple-A Oklahoma City and start for the Dodgers on Sunday in San Diego, according to team sources. Baker is being used for a spot start in order to allow the Dodgers to give the rest of their starting rotation extra rest heading into a busy May.
