Dodgers Notes: LA Signs Veteran Infielder, Will Smith Injured, Mets Star Calls Out Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers made another addition on Friday, signing veteran infielder Michael Chavis to a minor league deal.

Chavis joined the Dodgers at Camelback Ranch as a non-roster invite. He’ll provide depth at the minor league level.

In other Dodgers news, manager Dave Roberts revealed that All-Star catcher Will Smith is dealing with an ankle injury and is a little behind schedule at spring training.

And finally, New York Mets catcher Francisco Álvarez recently called out the Dodgers, saying the Mets have the better lineup heading into 2025.
