The Dodgers enter Friday tied for the fourth-best record in baseball, and tied for the best record in the National League. Despite inconsistent pitching and a ton of injuries in the rotation and bullpen, the Dodgers remain the Dodgers, and have been one of the powerhouses in baseball this season.
The Dodgers lead the National League with 319 runs scored and plating 5.6 runs for game, which is better than the historic 5.2 runs per game the team scored last season.
Suffice to say, this Dodgers team is as good as any in the league, especially considering their recent series win against the Braves in Atlanta and their 5-1 record against the Padres this season.
