LOS ANGELES — Major League Baseball announced the umpire assignments on Monday through the first round of the playoffs. The crew of arbiters in charge of the Dodgers’ National League Division Series will be led by crew chief Gerry Davis
Davis is in his 34th year as a major league umpire, and has worked more postseason games (133) than any umpire in history. He has worked five World Series, 10 League Championship Series (including in 2013 between the Dodgers and Cardinals), and this will be his 14th Division Series. His rotation for the NLDS begins at second base in Game 1.
