The Dodgers picked up Yoshi Tsutsugo from the Rays in hopes of helping him find his swing again. While in Japan, Tsutsugo mashed the ball consistently for almost 10 years. His brief experience with Major League Baseball has not gone nearly as well.
Dave Roberts talked about the acquisition earlier this week. According to him, the Dodgers have already seen something in his swing they can work on. Los Angeles has a long history of reinventing position players and changing their careers at the plate. The hope is that Tsutsugo can be their next success story.
