The Dodgers have been without their star catcher Will Smith for over a week now. He hasn’t played since last Wednesday, after suffering a concussion in the game against the Giants.
Smith was technically eligible to come off the seven-day concussion injured list on Thursday, however, that’s not going to happen. Smith is going to remain out for at least the next series against the Chicago Cubs, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Thursday.
“With Will, each passing day gets a little bit better,” Roberts said. “I still don’t see him playing in this series.
