Dodgers starting catcher Will Smith has been out since Friday with what we later found out was a concussion. Smith sustained the injury on Wednesday, when he took three foul balls off the mask.
At first, the Dodgers thought it was an illness, but the symptoms persisted and Smith was ultimately placed on the seven-day concussion injured list.
On Monday, Smith spoke to the media, and said he’s feeling better. However, the Dodgers are going to be extra careful with bringing him back, as they don’t want to rush him and his concussion recovery.
