At the beginning of the season, no one would’ve expected Tony Gonsolin and Tyler Anderson as the two pitchers who would be anchoring the Dodgers’ rotation. Both have helped pick up the slack in a depleted starting pitching depth. No one would have also expected that Walker Buehler would have an ERA north of 4 and have to miss a couple of months of the season due to injury (and surgery).
Well, both scenarios have happened to Los Angeles. Of course, the former is a great scenario to have, especially since both Gonsolin and Anderson were NL All-Stars.
