Many baseball legends and championships have come and gone over the past 70 years for the Los Angeles Dodgers, but one named remained constant. Vin Scully not only broadcasted Dodgers games, but also told stories that brought families together and inspired all who listened.
Now enjoying retirement, Scully finds himself with more time to spend with his family and to take up any interests outside baseball. In fact, his story-telling ability will be making another appearance, but in a different field of entertainment.
Scully has signed on to narrate two different performances of the upcoming orchestra “Lincoln Portrait,” which will be held at the Hollywood Bowl.
