The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that legendary broadcaster Vin Scully took a fall in his home on Tuesday afternoon and is resting comfortably in the hospital.
“I won’t be doing anymore headfirst sliding, I never liked it,” Scully joked in a statement released by the Dodgers.
It’s unknown what type of injuries Scully suffered, but him resting comfortably at the hospital and making jokes likely means that the 92-year-old will be able to make a full recovery. The city of Los Angeles already lost one legend in Kobe Bryant earlier this year, so can’t afford to lose another on in Scully during this difficult time.
