The Los Angeles Dodgers transferred Tyler White to the 60-day injured list as a corresponding move to creating room for Gavin Lux on their 40-man roster. The Dodgers selected Lux’s contract Monday and the 21-year-old will make his MLB debut at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers acquired White from the Houston Astros in exchange for Andre Scrubb. The Astros designated White for assignment days before the July 25 trade with the Dodgers.
White hit .225/.320/.330 with three home runs and 21 RBI through 71 games with Houston this season. He had a bit of a breakout performance in 2018, batting .
