After a day off on Thursday, the Dodgers were back at Chavez Ravine on Friday to play their first of several intrasquad games as they prepare to take on the winner of the Padres/Mets series at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday.
Los Angeles president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman met with the media on Friday afternoon, and the subject of the 13-man NLDS pitching staff came up several times. There are two roster spots open for pitchers, and injured stars Blake Treinen and Dustin May are both working to get back in time to fill those spots.
