It has been a dream season for Trea Turner as he reached his second All-Star game of his career, played in the second most games of his career for a franchise setting season in wins for the Dodgers and now Turner has been awarded with his first career Silver Slugger Award. Turner did it all on the field all season long so of course this award comes as little surprise to Dodgers fans.
Among shortstops, Turner led the league in hits (194) while coming second in batting average (.298), doubles (39) and RBI’s (100). Turner was a driving force to such an impressive season for the Dodgers and now has some huge merit as he enters free agency.
